Practical installation without drilling into the window frame: The ABUS 2510 additional window lock features a swivel bolt and is mounted solely on the window frame. To secure the window, the bolt is simply swung over to the window sash; a key is required to unlock it. This additional lock can be used on the handle side of single-leaf windows made of aluminum, wood, or plastic. The hinge side should be secured separately.
