As part of the F1 range, F1 Dark is the perfect mix to use on its own or to darken other baits. It is one of our most versatile baits, performing well in the warmer months as well as when the water color fades in winter. Developed by Des Shipp to catch F1 and commercial carp, F1 has proven to be a revolution among modern fishmeal baits. It has also been extremely effective against crayfish. Since its release, it has been the bait of choice for many top anglers and has proven devastating in numerous matches at various locations.

By adding our unique blend of sweet attractants to a mix of fishmeal and ground pellets, we have created a bait that starts catching right from the whistle and, with its long-lasting power, ensures that the fish stay in your pond. The fine fishmeal particles create an inactive mix when moistened, which is perfect for quick breakdown of the bait around the hook. F1 Dark is part of a larger range that includes baits, pellets, pastes, and liquids, all of which can be used alone or in combination with other baits.

Mixing Tips: F1 Dark is easy to mix. Empty the 2 kg bag of bait into a round mixing bucket, fill a 2-quart bait bowl with water, pour it over the bait, and mix thoroughly. Let it sit for 30 minutes; during this time, the bait will absorb the water. While fishing, sun and wind can dry the bait out a bit. To combat this, you can cover the mixed bait with a damp towel or simply add a little more water and mix again if it dries out.
