The Salewa Firetail 3 GTX is a highly technical approach low shoe with a modern, action sports-inspired design and a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX lining. Designed to excel on technical hikes and rocky trails, the Firetail 3 delivers great climbing performance. This is due to the high friction Vibram Reptail sole with Megragrip rubber compound, commonly used in sport climbing shoes, which provides 25% more grip, as well as Salewa's patented technologies, such as the Climbing Lacing, which reaches down to the forefoot for an excellent fit, and the 3F System for firm ankle and heel support.
