Through Rotor's expertise in CNC aluminum manufacturing, they have saved precious weight by connecting the lantern piece to the hub housing without threaded components. All components are CNC machined from ultra-light 7075 aluminum with fewer steel parts and a simplified internal design for easy assembly and maintenance. Maximum torque, minimum friction. The innovative sliding clutch system separates the ring from the pawls when you stop pedaling, reducing friction so you get maximum momentum when coasting or on high-speed descents.
