The problem with the new lamp is that the light distribution is very irregular. A very strong co-test spotlight with a clearly visible transition to the outside area. Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with the homogeneous illumination of the Nao+. I was influenced by positive reviews, but I honestly don't understand how Petzl can improve a successful product so badly.

It's lightweight and sits well on your head when you're running. You can't even feel it. Adaptive light works really well.
A big improvement over my Nao version 1.0. 50g lighter and much more powerful, with the added bonus of a red light on the back.
Super comfortable to wear for running, whereas I only used my NAO 1.0 for skiing and mountaineering.

These are Christmas presents, so I can't rate them yet!
Dispatch was speedy.
Holds in place really well, easy to change battery, super light.
I love the automatic brightness change, it's a real plus.
Super powerful lighting

Definitely the best headlamp I've ever owned, but there's always room for improvement...
The RL usually works great, but in the rain or when there are reflective path markings, road signs, etc., the light sometimes dims to the minimum light intensity. This is quite unpleasant on a trail run when you suddenly can no longer see the roots and stones. On a forest path or tarmac, this is not a problem and you can deactivate RL if necessary.
As I often ride to work and part of the route is along a country road, the rear light was very important to me, so the choice is unfortunately limited, but with this light it's great.
The regular price is quite high, but I've bought significantly worse lights that weren't much cheaper, so the price is reasonable.

Great gear with a bunch of different intensities to circle through, 2.5h nightrun left me with about ¾ of the battery still left. First battery change might feel a bit odd but when you get the hang of it it's easy. Only real downside might be comfort but that's probably subjective anyway and can easily be made more comfy by wearing a headband or smth.
A super lightweight and powerful tool

Works... I can't make a judgement on battery performance yet... whether the price is justified will probably only become clear after a few months of use

My old headlamp has been relegated to domestic use. So far, I've only used it twice, on a mountain hike on a snowy night and a trail run in the rain, both of which were fairly short. It's still hard for me to estimate the battery life, but the comfort and lighting quality are exceptional.
