Garmin Edge 1050 GPS Bundle, inkl. Premium HF-Brustgurt + Geschwindigkeits-/Trittfre
My 1050 has been with me for several long tours now. The screen is great. On 4-hour tours, the battery drops to around 85% with a connected light network (front light and radar), watt pedal, chest strap, automatic backlight and connected mobile phone with notifications. I have not undertaken any battery optimisation measures, all of which would still be possible. Logically, it needs a little more battery when you are navigating with it.

- The 1050 is more than 1cm longer and grazes on my handlebar with Synchros Garmin mount
- Garmin account can handle my old Edge 1030 and the new Edge 1050 in parallel and synchronises both
- Somewhat overloaded display and certain display elements are too small despite the size (e.g. timer at 1h30'45''...the 1 hour can almost not be read
- Risk of operating errors: I have just deleted an activity by mistake (it should be possible to restore the last 3 deleted activities)
- Due to the length and the somewhat 'bulky' and angular design, the button had to be positioned slightly to the side and was almost pushed out of the holder when pressed hard (risk of rotation)

Super resolution and extremely good for navigating. Just tried it out on an 8-day road bike tour. Battery was at 40% after 9 hours, which is ok for me. So take a battery pack for very long tours.
