Great helmet!
The best helmet I've bought so far. So light that I don't even feel it on my head.

A clear recommendation to buy!
By far the best road bike helmet I've ever had.
Can only recommend it to others. Also a very popular choice with many friends. So it seems to fit different heads well, not just mine.
For me, a very successful combination of weight, aero (quite comparable with "aero helmets" from other manufacturers) and size (very compact).
Of course, it's not cheap, but that's the norm these days...

Great old helmet
The helmet is great and fulfils my expectations when I wear it. The big BUT is that the helmet was already produced in November 2022 and therefore has almost 1/4 of its expected service life behind it (helmets should be changed after 5 years).
My enquiry/complaint to Galaxus revealed that this was already OK. The supplier also confirmed that this was normal...
For a helmet that costs over CHF 200, this is certainly not OK! I am happy to buy an older helmet - but not for the regular price.Pro

Excellent cycling helmet without MIPS
Can compete with the S-Works Prevail. The discontinued Prevail II (with MIPS) is currently available for CHF220.

Dirty and Old
The packaging was completely dusty and had already been opened once (seal broken). The helmet itself was also full of dust and dried drops of water.
According to experts, a bicycle helmet should be replaced every 5-6 years. This helmet is already 1.5 years old. That means it has already spent about a quarter of its life on the shelf. Very light - very good fit
I recently bought the Abus Airbreaker. Direct comparison to the predecessor of Giro Aether MIPS. The helmet is slightly lighter and the fit is very comfortable for my head. Even after hours on the race bike you do not feel him.
The ventilation fits and we in the summer probably be of great advantage. Finally, the Airbreaker has a great design that appeals to me. I am completely satisfied. Clear purchase recommendation.Pro
