Xiaomi Air Compressor 1S
Xiaomi Air Compressor 1S
Does anyone know what the difference is between this and the slightly more expensive Air Pump model?
Interesting that the Air Pump is more expensive... I think it's because of the other supplier. You can recognise it by the red or silver ring at the top of the 1S. The 1S has a USB type c connection, more air performance and longer battery life. In short, the 1S is the newer model.
What is the difference between this model and the Air Pump model which is about 15.- more expensive?
The 1S is the successor, manages 15L/min, weighs 480g and has a USB-C connection. The predecessor only manages 7L/min, weighs 430g and has a micro-USB connection. Unfortunately, I can't answer why the older version is more expensive.
Yes it can!
Yes, I had that problem too. I put a small sealing ring on the valve because it doesn't seal enough with the flash valves. Both other types of valves work perfectly.
I think you wanted to write a review. You just asked a question about the product... ;) but I agree with you. =D
No. The compressor has no compressed air tank and the air flow would be too low.
Yes, USB, without power supply unit
I use it also to inflate some inflatable water toys, you will need an extra adapter which is not included. It's usually the red one here Crosswave Valve adapter set Also note, there's no burst safety when inflating such objects. In all other cases (bike tire etc) there's a preset profile, when the pressure is reached, the compressor will stop. But there's no profile for example for a water toy. You have to manually stop the compressor, when the object is inflated enough.
No, you cannot inflate water toys and air mattresses etc. with it. The air flow is far too low for that.
