Question about iRobot Braava Jet m6
1) Is there a simple alternative to the original irobot cleaning agent that does not damage the nozzles? 2) Does the robot replace the mop? No. In other words, I do a thorough mopping before the first use of the robot. Afterwards, goodbye to the good old mop, the M6 replaces it. Or not? Because otherwise the bug wouldn't be much use. Floors: wooden floors (mainly laminate laid as a floating floor), tiles. 3) My house is on 2 levels. Can each room be mapped separately and does the robot remember this mapping?
Hello Charlon, I have been using the m6 for a few months now filling it with a simple floor detergent with no damage so far...I have been using the m6 for a while now, just filling it up with a simple floor cleaner without any damage so far... As far as mopping is concerned, the m6 is quite efficient but you need to mop the floor at least once a week in the old fashioned way to guarantee the property in difficult places... Moreover, if you have a lot of carpets, it's a real problem, the robot tends to try to climb on them and sometimes it gets stuck! In short, a fairly decent product but not at the top and expensive despite the discounts, more of a hi tech gadget than a replacement solution, that is obviously my personal opinion...

1) You can use the Braava jet m6 with plain water or pour some of our iRobot detergent. To ensure the longevity of your robot, we only recommend these two options. If you use other cleaning products, it may foam up too much and clog the nozzles.
2) This is a difficult question for us to answer. Basically, yes, this is what many customer comments show as well. Of course, it also depends entirely on the household - type of floor, frequency of cleaning, with or without children, with or without pets, etc.
3) The Braava jet m6 is able to create up to 10 maps of your house - for example, 1 map for the ground floor and 1 map for the first floor. For each map, you can then divide and name the rooms/areas. It is also possible to create additional cleaning areas (under the table in the dining room) or restricted areas in the respective room/areas. This allows you to send your Braava jet m6 to the specific rooms you want to clean.
