Product details

The gray tea and combo saucer looks fantastic when paired with the cup. The gray stripes on the cup are reflected in the saucer without creating a chaotic appearance. The new Rosenthal Stripes 2.0 collection is a true homage to Walter Gropius. In 2019, Rosenthal revisits the TAC Gropius decor and reinterprets it with a striped pattern. The fine lines on the porcelain are both matte and glossy, following a mix and match principle. The white porcelain is complemented by individual red glass plates, giving the tableware a fresh and modern touch. The red accent is a real eye-catcher on a set table, and the red serving pieces can also be combined with the already known TAC Gropius. As a highlight of this new series, color and facade elements have been integrated. There are plates with a very coarse texture that are meant to evoke the porcelain factory designed by Walter Gropius at Rothbühl. In contrast to the coarse plates, there are plates and bowls made of platinum that shine beautifully and appear very elegant and minimalist. Overall, this service is a truly successful reinterpretation of the TAC Gropius.
