Great waffles
Great machine, should last well. Cooks perfect waffles, nice and crispy, and automatic cooking system and timer means that you can reliably make a big batch of waffles with consistency, makes it a no-brainer. Cooks only two waffles at a time but they are pretty large. This was an upgrade from a more basic machine and you can really see the difference re quality and output. I wish the plates removed for cleaning but the non-stick is quite good so far so no issues cleaning up. We have been using the recipes in the Breville Smart Waffle recipe book that we found online (Breville is the brand name for this machine in the US) and the waffles have been excellent.

Love it!
I love this waffle iron! I thought it would take up much more space than it does, so I was relieved to see it’s not actually that big or heavy. We have tried two different recipes so far and both came out cooked perfectly: crispy and brown on the outside and soft on the inside. The browning is completely even and there are no burnt or raw patches. I had to return another cheaper waffle maker a few years ago because it didn’t evenly cook at all and all I can say is that this one is perfect and totally worth the price. I love it.
