Kärcher Ds6
Have the Kärcher for a few weeks in operation, is a super vacuum. I have fine stone slabs, the suction head glides over it pretty well, even the baseboards it sucks Tiptop even without "Fuselbürste" He has ne surprisingly high suction power from start to finish! The action radius is also okay with about 8m. What I find so really great is when you misch the water tank some fragrance oil smells the apartment just cool!!! No musty smell as with other bagless vacuum cleaners. I was pretty skeptical about this system at the beginning, however, I must say now ... Simply Topp, I STaubsauge gladly if it is not necessary, simply the freshness because of

As a long time fan of water filter vacuum cleaners (15 years with various makes), I have been looking for replacement of ageing Delonghi machine. Now after couple of weeks with DS6 I can say I am happy with my choice – while Kärcher machines may not be the top of user experience in terms of design (controls, more plastic than metal etc.), what matters most is the filtering principle and cleaning the filter. (Nobody shows you this part... everyone advertises just the vacuuming but then you are left with a filter full of... stuff to get rid of.) DS6 is super simple and functional from this respect so I can forgive it missing features like power regulation or controls on the handle.
The wheels did not spark much confidence (too small?) at first but so far the appliance is moving smoothly on tiles, parquet or carpets, so no issue there.
While it is easy to store in vertical position, it is missing a second handle for carrying in this position, but as I said, that's a minor flaw compared to overall performance and easiness of operation.
Using the anti-foaming additive in the water filter is a must, but as hard as I tried, I could not find it on Galaxus so planning to reach directly to Kärcher when I run out in few months of the bundled bottle.
One relatively important problem I see is the nozzle or a hub, it feels flimsy, the switch between hard and carpeted surface mode is too tough, so buying the turbo nozzle for some 60 SFr will be likely needed. OTOH, Kärcher offers lots of accessories.
Net, I would recommend to anyone who is into water filter vacuums.
