Electrolux Chill Flex Pro Gold
40 m², 9000 BTU/h
I bought the unit to reduce the sometimes very high summer temperatures in the small attic room. The unit works as expected - the attic room gets nice and cool. I chose this unit because (at least on Galaxus) it is currently the quietest A++ monoblock air conditioner available on the market. I am not allowed to install a split unit for structural reasons (monument protection).
The unit is - for its class of equipment - relatively quiet. However, 60dB is not what I want in the bedroom (imho comparable to a quiet vacuum cleaner). Personally, I would have a hard time sleeping at this volume. For technical reasons, you will hardly get such monoblock devices quieter - there are split devices much, much quieter.
Also, the energy efficiency is massively worse than any available split unit.
Who - as suggested in the manual - believes to dissipate the waste heat of the device through an open / tilted window, will experience his "warm miracle". Really useful results can only be achieved if a window is modified or a wall opening is made. This is true for all monoblock units.
Btw: I recommend everyone to go for a split unit if somehow possible in terms of construction, as split units are much quieter and much more efficient. The saved electricity costs make up for the higher purchase price in many cases.
Last but not least, Electrolux decided to put advertising on the front of the unit (thanks, I don't need any more advertising - I already bought the unit!). I had to rough the unit with solvent for about 30 minutes to remove the adhesive residue. A big THANK YOU to the marketing "experts".

The device does what it is designed to. It's not silent, though within the level of noise I was expected. It's white noise so personally I can sleep through it. With the recent heatwave of 36*C night the room of 30m2 was cooled within 30 mins to a normal 21*C... I slowed the process by standing over the Unit and having the air blow over me! The picture of course does not show the MANDATORY pipe that is needed to send the hot air out of the window (the photo wouldn't look as good). This pipe is the same as the back of the old-style tumble dryers. The pipe increases space usage, though not by much. For typical Swiss side opening windows you will need to buy an additional nylon fabric window seal with zipper. The material fits around the window, the pipe fits through the zipper and this prevents hot air from re-entering the room. The LEDs on the unit are bright white, though dim slightly when in night/sleep mode. Which idiot thought white, or blue LEDs on any electrical device that may be used at night is a good idea?! This illuminates the room at night. I solved this with my usual solution of covering the LEDs with a strip of clear red plastic.

This mobile air conditioner is used in my bedroom. The unit looks appealing & does its job very well. During the hot days in the last week, the air conditioner was used daily & after a few minutes the room is cooler.
The main argument for buying it was the comparatively quiet (according to the data even the quietest) operation compared to other devices. Although not really quiet, the unit hums pleasantly & the initial dripping noises are also gone.

Satisfied so far. Nice design, quite quiet in operation (yes, it can be slept in the room with about 1m distance from the air conditioner), relatively good performance (for a single room quite sufficient) and economical in power consumption. Also the timer function etc work well and are practical. The remote control is a bit bulky and has a 'retro design'. In addition, I can imagine that a device with similar performance could also be purchased at a slightly lower price...
Looks classy. is pleasantly quiet (comparable with fan at medium speed) and the compressor is almost not heard.
The Aabwasserschlauch for the condensation water can be attached pleasantly at medium height, so you do not have to put the climate on a piece of furniture to what water to drain into a container. Has all the functions (sleep, timer, swing, etc.)

Exactly the device where it needs immediate cooling.
