Purchase for elderly person
Purchased for an elderly woman who can no longer use a manual corkscrew due to arthrosis in her hands.
Intuitive operation that does not require much explanation.

cautionary note
Unfortunately I had zero success removing corks with this unit - they "chewed up" three separate bottles before I gave up. Each time, the device would screw in, then just rip out the middle of cork without removing it. All the wine was older (10+ year) California reds with real corks, sometime a little more difficult to remove, but this was crazy. I had to then actually remove the corks with a double-spring type manual cork remover. Guess I will go back to the screw-pull type!
