Setup take a few minutes, but the instructions are very clear. If in doubt watch someone else set it up on YouTube :-)
Defective and cruel customer service
The machine was delivered defective. Galaxus let me send it to Brother, who sent it back immediately as they no longer repair them (since 2016). I then had to wait two weeks and was told by Galaxus that they would have to check with the supplier. No exchange from Galaxus. Still waiting for the replacement device. Good luck and good nerves should your machine ever be defective!

Overlock machine
This is my first serger and I'm delighted with it. The instructions are very clear and I use it frequently. Good value for money. A few tools are included, but beware as this model has no tray for collecting coupons.
Good serger - manufacturer's quality - inexpensive. Recommended for beginners.
This is my 3rd serger! (the 1st Elna : 3 threads )
My Elna 744 broke down for the 3rd time: repair costs each time = 250 frs. Made in Japan (bought 30 years ago). The more I repair my Elna 744, the more it breaks down!
The Brother M343D is very similar to the Elna 744: I have no difficulty fitting the wires or understanding how to use each adjustment button!
One advantage of the Brother M343D: it's easier to sew sleeves on blouses than with the Singer machine!
So lots of good stitches (5 stitches) compared to Elna 744 = 12 stitches.
Thank you to Galaxus for making a RECORD delivery: IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS, THE BROTHER M343D OVERJET MACHINE ARRIVED AT MY HOME (4pm to order / 1pm the next day to arrive at my flat door).
