Price-performance ratio 9/10
The humidifier does what it is supposed to do. It is quiet (not silent!) and easy to use. We have it in our bedroom. During the day it runs and humidifies the room, and at night the tank is empty and the air is moist...so sensitive ears can relax too. No more scratchy throats in the morning thanks to this unit.
-->Our bedroom measures about 18 square meters. I think the Beurer can do 25-30 square meters.
-->We use the device without an additional lime filter, which seems to be no problem when filled with Basel tap water (we have had the device for about 1 month).
-->We operate the device with a fragrance oil. 2-3 drops per day in the designated container are enough to "mist" a pleasant light aroma into the bedroom.Pro

Not the most user friendly
The biggest disappointment is that you need to take the whole device and dissemble it each time you want to fill the tank. If you simply lift up the tank part, water splashes around, so you need to unplug, go to the sink and then do it.
Also the objects near the device get wet really fast, so make sure not to put books etc. around.Pro

I am really satisfied with the device. I can still sleep next door without it disturbing me. My cats rarely leave the room and they are quite comfortable.
Complicated handling
I would not buy the product again. Unsuitable for the bedroom because of the noise, as the water is not regularly "sucked" and it "gluggert" loudly every now and then. In addition, the device loses water. Refilling is very cumbersome. The distribution of the steam in the room does not work, which leads to the fact that the area around the humidifier becomes very humid, but not the air in the room itself.
