For a one-person travel set-up, this ticks all the boxes for me. Assuming one has access to boiling water and either ground coffee or a portable grinder and beans, this gives you the freedom to make the strength* of coffee you like just about anywhere. So much better than instant coffee! (*Maybe it shouldn't be called an 'Espresso Maker' by Aerobie, as this doesn't really produce espresso and the associated crema. I find it makes something closer to what one gets from a Moka pot -- my personal favourite -- or traditional french press.)
I haven't used the original AeroPress so cannot compare but I like the size of this AeroPress Go. All the components feel well made and everything is quite easy to clean and dry. Some criticize it, but I find the red rubber cap useful while making the coffee, e.g. as a place to put the stirrer temporarily. And it keeps everything neatly sealed away in one's travel gear.
The AeroPress Go comes with 350 filter papers, so there are plenty to be going on with, but at some point replacements will need to be available (or a metal filter found instead). I hope that Galaxus will stock these useful items soon, also.

I have this one and the original. With the same variables (same coffee, same kettle, same filter), I get the better coffee out of the Go.
The sieve has circular holes instead of a grid. If anyone can explain this to me, please do!

I already have the large model and I bought this one for travelling because it's more compact.
