The Philips Steam&Go GC362/81 and the Philips STH7060/81 are both steam straighteners from Philips, but there are some important differences: ## Power and steam output - The Philips Steam&Go GC362/81 has a power of 1300 watts and a steam output of up to 24 g/min. - The Philips STH7060/81 has a higher power of 1500 watts, but the specific steam output is not explicitly stated in the sources. ## Design and portability - The Philips Steam&Go GC362/81 is a portable, handheld steam straightener, which makes it ideal for travelling or for straightening individual items of clothing. - The Philips STH7060/81 is a stationary steam straightener with an adjustable steamer head, making it more flexible for different applications. ## Water tank - The Philips Steam&Go GC362/81 has a relatively small water tank with a capacity of 70 ml, which often needs to be refilled. - Information about the exact size of the Philips STH7060/81's water tank is not specified in the sources, but it is likely that it has a larger tank as it is a stationary appliance. ## Accessories and functions - The Philips Steam&Go GC362/81 comes with a brush attachment, gloves and a high-quality bag. - The Philips STH7060/81 may offer other functions and accessories, such as variable steam strength and automatic temperature control, which are typical for stationary Philips steam straighteners. ## Application and ease of use - The Philips Steam&Go GC362/81 is particularly suitable for quickly smoothing individual items of clothing and is easy to use. - The Philips STH7060/81 is more versatile and can be used for a wider range of applications, including smoothing larger quantities of clothes. These differences reflect the different designs and applications of the two appliances.

I checked both devices with the manufacturer and both are technically identical. The new model is this one with the manufacturer's number GC362/81. Here you can find both devices at the manufacturer: https://www.philips.ch/c-p/GC362_80/steam-go-tragbare-dampfbuerste and https://www.philips.ch/c-p/GC362_81/steam-go-tragbare-dampfbuerste.

Of course it is better to use Iron Water if you are using the device every day but especially for travelling I have been using normal tap water around Europe for three or so years now with the device with no problems. There is a filter in the tank as I can remember to help and standard descaling will help keep it going for years.

It is suitable for all ironable fabrics, even silk. However, I would use the brush attachment for delicate fabrics. Personally, I use it for practically all fabrics, because then I can always go all the way. LG

Above all, you are really in the right place here. Here you should ask questions about the product itself. Your concern should clearly be addressed directly to Galaxus customer service. They will meet you 100% in full. Unfortunately, mistakes happen. People are still at work and mistakes are human. You don't have to go ballistic. You will be very satisfied with the product ;)
