The Bianca is one of the most economical and quickest to heat up portafilter machines with an E61 brew group. Especially when only the brewing boiler is switched on, it takes less than 12 minutes to heat up and be ready for use. Anyone who loves the advantages of this temperature-stable system, which is over 60 years old, will not be driven crazy by a few watts. It would be better to give up coffee consumption altogether in view of the much more questionable footprint that is still caused in most places by the unscrupulous cultivation and trade of coffee. The standby mode can be switched off or gradually increased at 30-minute intervals. In standby mode, the boiler remains at approx. 70°C and the Bianca is then ready for use again very quickly. However, when switched off completely, the heat also lasts for a long time. It can be operated from a smart socket and can be easily switched off at any time without the need for any absurd fuss. I bought the black wooden parts separately for my chrome Bianca (the set including 2 portafilters is comparatively cheap, with the competition you easily pay twice as much, painting would be even cheaper).

We do not yet know how the system arrived at this price. However, the error has since been corrected. It should be noted that our CH shop and the shop for DE have different suppliers and a completely separate logistics network. Price differences in both directions are therefore quite common.

Hi Anonymous, I assume that the temperature on the PID is correct, although I haven't checked that. Whether Galaxus has calibrated it, I don't think so. I assume that the Lelit company has already set and calibrated it. I tested various settings until I got the flavour I wanted, which is very understandable for me. Many factors are important and not just the temperature. In any case, I am very satisfied and enjoy my daily espresso or cappuccino. This is the time when coffee tastes best only with me and nowhere else. I hope I could answer your question. Greetings!

The function is not integrated, but we have ours plugged in with a Philips Hue Smart Plug, so you can programme the on/off time via the app. To be able to switch it on manually, we have a Hue Smart Button next to it, with which the plug can be switched on and off (the on/off button of the machine must of course always be on for the programming to work, hence this diversions). It works perfectly.

I can only find an overpriced seal from ECM at Galaxus. But I'm not sure if it really fits: ECM group seal 8.5 mm If you want an original replacement gasket, you can buy this one, for example: https://www.messinacoffeestore.ch/de/kaffeemaschinen-muehlen/lelit/lelit-dichtungen/bruehkopfdichtung-58mm-mara-bianca

What is the difference between V3 and V2?

Compared to the V2 model, the V3 model is equipped with the Low Flow system, which is the only difference. Low Flow System: The machine can now be easily used by less experienced users, as they do not need to pay special attention to coffee preparation. You can choose between four automatic coffee preparation programmes. Here are the differences between the full flow and low flow systems: Full Flow: The espresso is prepared at a constant pressure of 8-9 bar. Low Flow: Low pressure extraction at the beginning and end of the espresso. Full flow with pre-infusion: The espresso is drawn at a constant pressure of 8-9 bars with a pre-infusion at the beginning. Low flow with pre-infusion: Extraction at low pressure at the beginning and end of the espresso with a pre-infusion at the beginning.
