Hello Sonorita, it is difficult in Switzerland, I have a pot from the USA, there are sometimes 23 cm, at Broki I found an iron pan mark Holland the lid is 23 cm I need for baking bread, previously Ikea lid 26cm diameter, made of glass/metal with movable handle, placed upside down on the pan, goes a little easily and awkwardly, WMF also used to have 21 cm. Hope I have helped always take a cm or even samples good luck.

I always grease the pan well before use and leave the meat, for example, for a relatively long time until it comes off by itself, then I turn it once. that works well. I also wash the pan only by hand with water and without soap, so that the patina can form after a while, which helps a lot that other foods don't stick so much. Meat, spaetzli and vegetables all go well, but hash browns stick anyway.

iron cast products are dishwasher safe but they are too heavy to place on racks. The dishwasher racks can get broken. Also it s important to dry them quickly after washing to prevent oxidation. Therefore handwash is advised for all iron cast products.

You first need to bake a cast iron pan - here is a good guide: https://pfannenhelden.de/eisenpfanne-einbrennen/ As a general rule, never clean cast iron pans with washing-up liquid. If you do, you have to burn it in again. After use, fill with a little water (2 cm) and return to the hot stovetop. Then clean with a rinsing brush (without detergent) and dry with a piece of household paper and rub with a little oil. This way you can do everything in the pan and nothing sticks! Guaranteed!

Why does the 24cm cost more than the 26cm?

Our prices are always dependent on various factors, such as the purchasing conditions of the supplier. In addition, we always work with daily prices. Therefore, it is quite possible that different sizes of an item may have different prices. I ask for your understanding.
