I have a Kenwood Chef Elite. Do I need an adapter for the grain mill?

The KAT001ME twist adapter was included (so that it fits the older Kenwood Titan). This should be included in the description, because I orderd is separatelly, so I have a spare adapter now :-/

Is this grain mill steel mill or stone mill? The Kenwood homepage says it is a steel grinder, but Kenwood customer service says it is a stone grinder.
