Detects and removes microscopic particles
In Auto mode, a piezoelectric sensor monitors the amount of dust particles sucked up 15,000 times per second to detect microscopic particles invisible to the naked eye and automatically increase suction power when needed.
Highly efficient HEPA filter system
Dyson's fully sealed HEPA filtration system removes dust and traps 99.99% of microscopic particles as small as 0.1 micron. These are just the size of pet skin particles or diesel soot.
1 Tested to IEC 62885-4 CL5.8 and CL5.9, loaded to full bin, in boost mode against robot hoovers (market sales data from January 2022 to December 2022).
Tested in SLG Germany in 2021.
2 Filtration tested in 2022 by an independent third party, SGS US, to ASTM F3150 in boost mode.
5 The highest measurement accuracy is achieved in Auto mode. DLS function only available in Auto mode Tests based on average home use according to internal Dyson test data. Microscopic dust particles are defined as particles smaller than 100 microns.
