The advancing digitalization has now also reached the management of large companies and, consequently, corporate law. This paper discusses whether and to what extent the work of the supervisory board can be improved through the use of artificial intelligence within a legal framework. It re-examines fundamental questions of supervisory board law, such as delegation within the supervisory board, the independent right to information for the board, qualification requirements for supervisory board members, and a separate supervisory board budget.
