In addition to texts that attempt to implement concepts of postcolonial discourse, there are also texts that partially or entirely question and transcend the framework of postcolonial theory formation. Thus, this volume does not present a uniform position on postcolonial theory but provides insight into the range of discussions and practices surrounding postcoloniality in the German-speaking context. Above all, the volume highlights the impacts that postcolonial concepts have on understanding and transformation.
