Two strangers. One game. And a fateful night. Gabe: Rule number one: I stay away from straight guys. Rule number two: No free champagne at charity events either, as long as I don’t know why I’m actually invited. In my defense: I really don’t know what an average hockey player is doing among all the star players, and the champagne is really delicious. When I get teamed up with NHL superstar Connor Mitchell, I understand my role at this event - but by then it’s already too late. How am I supposed to score goals for a good cause when I can barely stand? How am I supposed to show that I belong in the NHL when I’m completely drunk? But the much more important question: How am I supposed to stick to rule number one when Connor Mitchell is way hotter than I thought? Connor: Hockey has been my life for as long as I can remember.
