Product details
Starting in autumn 2022, the Novartis Campus will be open to the public during working hours. A spectacular ring-shaped new building plays a central role in this context: The Novartis Pavilion in the park along the Rhine promenade was designed by the Italian design collective AMDL Circle, led by architect and designer Michele De Lucchi. Serving as a place for learning and exchange, the building also facilitates encounters and dialogue with the public. At its heart is a multimedia exhibition that provides insights into the world of medicine and pharmacy. The book explains the complex architecture and the history of the building's development: from the design concept behind the circular floor plan to the sustainable, prefabricated wooden support structure, and finally to the zero-energy media facade, which is animated by various artists.
