The basics of anatomy and physiology form the basic knowledge so that the MPA can carry out assignments in various specialist areas attentively, reliably and independently.
This volume deals with the digestive system and metabolism, the female reproductive organs, the urogenital, hormonal and nervous systems, the sensory organs as well as the immune and lymphatic systems, among others. Numerous illustrations visualise the easy-to-understand teaching text, tasks and self-tests reinforce the learning process. The volume is part of the overall MPA teaching material. On the one hand, its content conveys the previous knowledge of the two volumes on pathophysiology, on the other hand, it corresponds optimally with the volumes of the areas of competence 3 (laboratory) and 4 (imaging procedures). Linking icons indicate thematic connections to these and other areas of competence or volumes.
