A keen sense of light and shadow Humility towards nature and its inimitable sublimity: this is the feeling Jens Knigge (born 1964 in Eilenburg, lives and works in Berlin) feels on his winter trips to the Arctic Circle. He has captured his impressions of the snowy landscapes and the mysterious northern lights in mostly small-format platinum-palladium prints. The contact prints from analog-generated negatives show in essence the failure of familiar formal languages and modes of expression.
