Product details

Dr. Volker Rimkus, a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, was born in 1939 in East Prussia. During his training as a specialist, he spent several years researching as a scientific assistant at the Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel. From an early stage, he developed a critical view of the conventional hormone treatment for women. When he was confronted more directly with the issues faced by aging women in his own practice, he developed an alternative therapeutic concept for hormonal treatment during menopause, known as the Rimkus Method. The key difference from conventional approaches to treating women is that Dr. Rimkus exclusively recommends bioidentical hormones derived from wild yam root, rather than synthetic industrial preparations, in his therapeutic concept.
