Product details
Young Zane wants to prevent a she-wolf that suddenly appears in a remote valley from being killed. During a gunfight with men who are after the predator, he seriously wounds one of them. Zane flees with his horse into the Rocky Mountains and picks up the wolf's trail. When he finds her, she is so weakened by a gunshot wound that he is able to lasso her. As he tends to the wolf's wounds and feeds her, he realises that he must go against the people in the valley to protect the shot animal and bring her to safety. On the way to the Canadian border, a uniquely brittle relationship develops between him and the she-wolf. Pursued by the sheriff and the hunters, the ride becomes a test for Zane, because it is no longer just the she-wolf that is being hunted, but also her rescuer.
