The adoption of the constitutional article and the federal legislation on second homes has marked in a manifest and lasting way the construction regime in tourist areas in Switzerland, especially in the Alpine regions. The demi-journée de droit de l'environnement organisée par l'Université de Lausanne en 2021 a été consacrée aux nouveaux enjeux de l'urbanisation en montagne - en Suisse, aber également en France. The present booklet brings together the acts of the speakers who took part in this edition.
The law applicable to secondary residences occupies a special place in this publication, due to the subtleties it contains and the multitude of situations it regulates. Une première contribution est consacrée à une analyse complète du régime fédéral applicable aux nouvelles résidences secondaires, y compris ses exceptions. Elle est suivie d'une contribution relative aux logements de l'ancien droit et à la garantie de la situation acquise qui leur est accordée.
The constructions in the mountains are not limited to housing, but include various infrastructures and installations that need to be included in the framework of a judicious and measured use of the land.
