Challenges of Using ICTs to Disseminate Agricultural Information

The book "Challenges of Using ICTs to Disseminate Agricultural Information" provides a comprehensive analysis of the challenges associated with the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) for the dissemination of agricultural information. It highlights the importance of effective information dissemination for farmers to enhance their knowledge and skills and to ensure sustainable agricultural production. Despite the research conducted to increase agricultural productivity in Sudan, the study shows that agriculture continues to suffer from a decline, partly due to inadequate information dissemination. The investigation focuses on the Gezira state, which is considered the most agriculturally productive state in Sudan, and analyzes data from 120 randomly selected farmers. The results offer valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of using ICT in the agricultural sector.
