Philips SmartSleep Connected Sleep & Wake-up Light HF3671/01
So at least it could have been internet radio if the device already has Wi-Fi. Too bad
Yes, it is possible to use it without WiFi. But... I personally don't find the operability on the device optimal, so I prefer to use the app with WiFi. At night, my WiFi is deactivated and the alarm clock still works perfectly. The benefit of a WiFi connection because of evaluations etc. I find moderately useful, so I would rather recommend an older and cheaper variant if it is not about that and the use of the app. (see also my rating)
Hello No, you can't. As wake-up sounds there are birdsong, gentle gong sounds, the sound of the sea, cowbells, sounds of lakes and a few more. At most, the radio (unfortunately only FM) can be stored. However, you rarely get to hear the sounds, as the sunrise simulation gently wakes you up beforehand. The alarm clock is really good, even if it is hopelessly overpriced at 199. My honest opinion.
Yes, this is saved on the device itself, not in the mobile app. You can also configure it on the device itself.
Just did a side by side comparison of the two models on the Philips.ch website. The only thing I found doing so is that the /02 has 315 lux vs 325 lux for the /01. Every other spec is exactly the same. Hope this link works on your computer: https://www.philips.ch/etc/philips/b2c/compareproducts.html?locale=fr_CH&catalog=CONSUMER&ctn=HF3672/01,HF3671/01. Otherwise, you may need to download the manuals and do a closer comparison of the specs.
Both are possible. You can set the display to dim completely after a few seconds or how much residual brightness is allowed.
Hi Yes, the alarm times can be set both directly via the alarm clock and via the mobile phone. Several different alarm times can also be saved.
According to our information, this item only supports FM radio as an alarm option and has no DAB+ compatibility.
It's been a while, but: I assume you have completely reset the device? Must be in the same WLAN as the mobile phone. If that doesn't work, then I don't know. Unfortunately, it doesn't work as smoothly as I would like
Your criteria would definitely be fulfilled (except for DAB). Unfortunately, I can only share my experience with the Philips. Adjustable light alarm clock with pleasant melody has its price, the others (which I have tried so far) are not comparable.
Yes, it is possible to disable wifi. You can activate the wifi to set the alarm clock with your smartphone and then deactivate the wifi. The settings then remain programmed in the alarm clock.
Yes
Yes, the display can be switched off completely.
According to research, only the lux number is different here. Sound, light type and technical functions are exactly the same.
They are similar, only the suppliers change, that's the reason of the price. :)
Yes you can. Even several per day.
haha exactly my thoughts, digitec tried to explain a few months ago that EMFs are not only positive^^ and also asked to maybe introduce a category in the catalogue where you can see if devices have an offline mode... well... the mills grind slowly
Hello Andy I can reassure you. The light alarm clock will keep your memories even if the device is without power. See the instructions for use: "Note: All your personalised settings and profiles are saved permanently. They are not deleted when the adapter is unplugged. You can change all settings at any time. The last setting is saved." And it works. I have connected my alarm clock to the wifi network. So the changeover from summer to winter time and vice versa also works. Everything is tiptop so far... except: No DAB+ 😬. A killer criterion, as Switzerland will soon only broadcast DAB+. I have pointed out this shortcoming to Philips, but I think that this will remain my problem - i.e. if I then want to wake myself up via the radio, I will have to change the alarm clock. But until that happens, I'm enjoying my device and the app that goes with it. LG Erich
No, the alarm clock does not have a battery and must be plugged in. However, if there is a power cut, it will still work for a few hours without power and wake you up early👍🏻.
It should be yes, the supplier is Philips Switzerland
Yes, the lamp brightness (at full setting) is quite good.
No, unfortunately that is not possible. You can only listen to the radio via FM/UKW. It cannot be used as a WLAN speaker.
Mobile phone does not have to be nearby.
Good morning Yes you can switch it off, I did for the same reasons.
