When Angelo, the agent of small things, regains consciousness, he doesn't know where or who he is. He finds a business card with (his) name on it in his jacket pocket. The vastness of the sky above him amazes him as if he is seeing it for the first time.
And as if by a miracle, he wakes up as a well-read person who can quote a passage from an article, essay or novel at almost every moment of his life. Chance plays a major role in the story, pulling the strings after his awakening and enabling Angelo to avert a dangerous attack on the village's democratic order.

"The Agent of Small Things Awakens by the Brook" is the second book that Francesco Micieli has written about the self-proclaimed private detective. The first volume was published by Zytglogge Verlag in 2014.
