Zipato Backup Expansion Module (for Zipabox2)
The Zipabox Backup Expansion Module maintains the functionality of the Zipato Zipabox2 during a network disruption or power outage. This expansion module is a rechargeable battery that provides up to 24 hours of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for the Zipabox Gateway.
The module features an additional USB port for connecting a USB 3G stick for a backup internet connection, ensuring that the gateway remains connected to the cloud even if the local internet connection is disrupted.
The backup module is equipped with a tamper sensor that detects and indicates shocks and vibrations.
