Wireless microphone and handheld recorder in one: The elegant 26 cm long reporting microphone can be paired with any current RØDE wireless receiver and also offers an on-board recording function with its own REC button and built-in 32 GB storage for 40 hours of uncompressed audio signal. The sound quality of the Interview PRO is top-notch: crystal clear, undistorted, and with optimal speech intelligibility.

The Interview PRO features a high-quality condenser capsule, typically with a spherical polar pattern. The advantage: The microphone exhibits no proximity effect, meaning there is no significant boost in low frequencies at close microphone distances. In practice, this allows for some variation during recording without drastically changing the sound. As a "spherical" microphone, it is sensitive to sound from all directions, so unlike a microphone with a cardioid pattern, it doesn't need to be perfectly aligned with the sound source – the Interview PRO is very forgiving if the interview partner moves their head.

GainAssist technology is very helpful: an intelligent automatic gain control that continuously adjusts the internal gain setting of the microphone to the respective sound source. This way, you are protected from surprises, and the audio signal is always transmitted or recorded at a healthy level with optimal intelligibility. The maximum sound pressure level is a robust 122 dB, which means you can record even very loud interview partners with the Interview PRO without risking distortion.
