FYI for those who are buying an ESD license for the first time:...
Info for those who buy an ESD license for the first time: It comes via email a link to a third party website where you have to register. Only then you get the code to unlock Office. Actually a matter of a few minutes. Unfortunately, it took me over a week and several phone calls to Digitec.
Unlike others, I had no problems with the pre-installed trial version.
Not much needs to be said about Office itself. Not much has changed since Office 2010. There are plenty of free alternatives. I bought it because of the unlimited cloud storage OneDrive.Pro

If a trial version of Office 365 is already installed on the computer, the new license can only be installed with the help of Microsoft Support.
The process from the purchase of the product to the delivery of the license key (by mail) takes far too long. An automated process without long waiting time would be desirable.Pro

The portal is absolutely for the bin!
ESD licence would theoretically work... if it weren't for the annoying e-mail problem with Techdata's portal: activate-here.com. (E-mails do not arrive)
