Very affordable and 100% functioning device.
At the beginning, the plug of the Toslink cable only fitted into the socket of the TV with difficulty, but did not fit into the socket of the unit at all. The reason was a small, inconspicuous cover of the optical fibre, not mentioned in the description, which must be removed beforehand.

Does what it promises.
I can now continue to use the combination of old boxes and amplifier with the modern Smart TV. It worked right from the start.
Would buy the FiiO again
Worked wonderfully to have sound from the built-in speakers and the headphones connected to the FiiO on a Samsung LED TV at the same time. Especially with HDMI playback, as the TV does not support this via the SCART audio output. Be sure to also buy a TosLink cable if you do not have one.

No Dolby support
Unfortunately, the description does not indicate that the converter does not convert Dolby signal. So only half of the TV channels have sound, in my case unfortunately unusable. Could return the product at least at a discount (since opened).
