No, you have to buy it separately. Attention - at least 15W.
No, that's not necessary. Configuration can be done from the UniFi app on iOS/Android or MacOS/Win, the choice is yours!

Yes, you can integrate the new U6+ access point into your existing infrastructure and configure it with the local Ubiquiti software. The U6+ models are compatible with the UniFi software you already use and can be managed via Ethernet, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
Automatically generated from the .Hello the Unifi U6+ is intended for individual rooms with the Unifi U6 pro you have the most optimal coverage for floors. Depending on the conditions of the property, you may also need 2 per floor or an LR to cover the garden, for example. With the Ubiquiti U6 pro you have enough power (speed) and range for several users.
The Ubiquiti APs are professional devices that are not as easy to configure as consumer APs. You definitely need this. Ubiquiti U-POE-AT (PoE Injector) Please connect it in the bedroom, or beforehand, i.e. from the distribution box, if you want to install a switch in the bedroom to be able to connect other devices to the LAN there. Perhaps you can get help with your project from someone who is familiar with this. VG
You need a PoE adapter. This is plugged into the network cable. It won't work without one. Costs approx. 10-15€.
Hi there I would highly suggest to take the PRO model. I have a 6+ and a 6+ PRO model in operation. The big advantage of the PRO model are the extra antennas which is beneficial if you have many devices or need extra bandwidth. In addition it supports Ubiquiti bluetooth devices & sensors which the 6+ doesn’t. I hope it helps. Best Ben
Greetings, if the router is not one from UniFi no. You have to download the app to your smartphone and enter it yourself once during setup. Important roaming between multiple access points is only possible with a network controller from UniFi or if you host it on a virtual machine. Have a nice evening.
My printer stopped working. Solution: Change WPS2/WPS3 to WPS2 only (at 2.4GHz where the printer should be connected), and then it will work again! https://de.digi.com/blog/post/wi-fi-6-compatible-devices-and-their-use-cases#:~:text=The%20good%20message%3A%20Wi%2DFi,Ger%C3%A4te%20unterst%C3%BCtzen%20Wi%2DFi%206.
The radiation characteristics are published by Ubiquiti (somewhat hidden) https://help.ui.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005212927-UniFi-Network-AP-Antenna-Radiation-Patterns Best regards
Do you mean connect to the AP and connect via the AP's mesh (bridge mode) or simply connect the Tv Box to the Internet via the AP?
Of course, you can connect them with any operator, of course it's not a Pug & Play product you have to configure it properly and have minimal knowledge. For my part, I have an Ubiquiti VPN Router that acts as Controller and everything is configured from its App.
The end devices are roamed within the Unifi network. However, only if unifi controllers are present and the other devices are also from Unifi
I've had a UAP-AC-PRO in my bedroom for years and have never heard a peep from it. 🫣🤔 I haven't noticed any negative noise emissions from the U6s either.
For outdoor use, you should use the U6 LR. It is explicitly designed for outdoor use.
Hi I also had to make my own experiences with PoE; there are several standards. You absolutely need an adapter that supplies 48V. Unfortunately, passive PoE (24V) is not possible with this AP. You can find them for a good price on Tutti. I also bought mine there. Good luck! LG Ben
The device can broadcast 5 different SSIDs and it is capable of roaming, i.e. seamlessly moving an end device from one AP to another (provided your end device is capable of this). This means that you are not stuck with your end device on the old AP when you move from one side of the flat to the other. It is important to mention that you need to install a console for the Ubiquiti APs. The console is available as software or as hardware (e.g. Dream Machine, Cloud Key). The console is also useful in operation as it gives you deep insight into your network and performance. Using mesh to connect one AP to another should always be second choice because you lose bandwidth. Check if you can pull a network cable instead so that both APs are on the cable.
Since we do not have an effective user experience with the product, we have forwarded your question to the Community so that it can possibly be answered by another customer. According to the instructions, it should be possible with the following steps: Please follow the steps below to put the Ubiquiti UniFi U6+ access point into bridge mode: 1. first, install the UniFi Controller on your computer or server and add your Ubiquiti U6+ APs. Open the UniFi Controller and navigate to the UniFi U6+ Access Point you want to put in Bridge Mode. Click the Configure icon and select the Network Settings tab. 4. go to "Network Type" and select "Bridge". 5. deactivate the option "Separate network" and click on "Apply". 6. restart the access point to apply the changes. Your Ubiquiti UniFi U6+ access point should now be in bridge mode, acting as a Wi-Fi only access point that does not change the network it is accessing.
In principle, this is possible. Please note: this AP gets its power via PoE+. Therefore, your cable from the basement to the first floor should be a copper cable with at least Cat 5e. In the best case, your switch can do PoE, otherwise connect the PoE injector in between. This AP needs a controller. So, if you don't have one yet, don't forget to buy a cloud key.
As already stated in the infomail about the delivery delay, it can unfortunately happen that the supplier does not receive the subsequent delivery as expected and then the expected delivery date changes. For this reason, we always state the delivery dates in our online shop without guarantee.
If you want to screw the AP vertically to the wall, yes. If you want to screw the surface-mounted unit horizontally to the wall, no.
Both banks can be used simultaneously! POE power supply is compulsory, but console administration is not. Can be used on its own
There are switches from the Ubiquiti brand that have 2.5Gbit/s Ethernet ports or higher. You would have to use such a switch if you want to give the APs the maximum bandwidth. For example: Ubiquiti Enterprise 8 PoE
