TP-Link EAP225-Outdoor: WLAN-AC AP

Unfortunately, we have not tried this with the Fritzbox mesh, but if a LAN connection is available, then it should be possible.
The size information is from the unit including the antennas.

The PoE adapter supplied with the EAP225-Outdoor is used to supply the device with power. However, you must connect an Ethernet cable from the router to the access point to establish the data connection. The PoE adapter is normally connected to the access point to provide power, while the Ethernet cable enables data transmission. The WLAN signal is then received and forwarded via the antennas of the access point.

The TP-Link EAP225-Outdoor is not supplied with a standard mains adapter, but supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) and comes with a PoE adapter for the power supply. This enables flexible installation without an additional mains adapter.

The PoE power supply unit (PoE adapter) is already included with the TP-Link EAP225 outdoor access point. You therefore do not need to order it separately.
Automatically generated from the .Hello, I have this in use for this reason. Important, the next AP should be in the 72 dbm range.
Answer can only be with reservations. This WLAN access point has been working very well outside for me for 1 year. It has to travel 50 metres so that I can continue to use the Internet in the garage with the same access point. Everything is actually included. Of course, if you need longer IP cables (as flat as possible so that they can be easily laid from indoors to outdoors), that's extra. (PoE injection is included).
Hello yes that's right, so I don't know any other variants from Galaxus, unless they are used devices where one or the other cable is missing, but POE injector is always included.
For me, the device has best speed and range over 60m. With speed stepdowns over 100m Either the receiver device is the problem or you have a warranty case.
Hoi, es gibt die Outdoor-Version nur in V1: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/eap225-outdoor/#Firmware Gruss
Both can have the same SSID, the channels just need to be set manually, and the distance between channels taken into account. e.g. channel 1 and channel 6 (2.4GHz band), etc. WiFi scanning is recommended in advance to avoid/minimise interference from other existing WiFi transmitters.
Oliver First of all, I have to say that the device is very good and has Mesch technology, which means that it is possible to establish a wireless connection between devices. But whether a connection to an existing W-LAN is possible, I honestly can't say.
To configure this WLAN router, you should read the (small) manual. This device does not have a DHCP server, so the PC must be manually assigned an IP (e.g. 192.168.0.10), only then is 192.168.0.1 accessible. I have been using several such access points for years and they work wonderfully.
It's best to ask the manufacturer directly, they'll know for sure. Apart from the multilingual brief instructions, I have not yet found any German-language instructions for the EAP225-OUTDOOR on the manufacturer's homepage...
Yes. There is only one HW-version (V1) of this EAP225-Outdoor available untill now (2020 Aug 31). And it is MU-MIMO-capable as far as TP-Link says.
Hello Fabio There is a PoE adapter included. Depending on whether your switch supports PoE or not, you may need it or leave it in the box.
Hi Felix, as far as I can see so far, not in the classical sense. In my eyes, a LAN bridge describes my operating mode. I have also entered the data of my existing wlan in the TP-Link and it works wonderfully (going out of the house with the Natel). There doesn't seem to be any OpenWRT firmware yet.
According to our own research, the TP-LINK is connected to the router via LAN cable. Unfortunately, we cannot answer whether a connection via Devolo Magic is also sufficient, as we have never been able to try it out in such a form. But I'll gladly post it in the community, maybe a user can help you :)
