Hi Danitec I have seen a comment and assume an error, the thickness is effectively 7.2mm see > https://www.seagate.com/de/de/internal-hard-drives/hdd/barracuda/#specs-2-5 It will easily fit into a 2009 notebook. Kind regards Yannick
No. The HP 440 has an m.2 SSD. It doesn't fit a 2.5" hard drive. But if you want a new operating system, you can also format the SSD or boot via a USB stick.
No, this is absolutely not recommended, these hard drives are not built for continuous operation and apart from that they are too slow for a server (only 5400rpm). By the way, hard disks in a modern server are operated on a fast SAS interface (12Gb/s). Enterprise hard disks have around 10x higher workload rates than conventional desktop hard disks.
