Hi, as it has no display, it is very difficult to connect it. You need the mobile and the exact instructions. The best thing to do is to reset the printer completely, see the instructions on YouTube, and otherwise delete it again in the mobile and start from the beginning. I had little trouble connecting the first time, but the second time I had to swear for about two hours for a different computer. The most important thing was that the printer was visible and logged on to the W-LAN. I don't want to buy something like this again without display input.

Yes, each ink jet and laser printer has at least a starter kit that allows to set up the printer. How much ink a starter kit contains, this depends. Some printers have also the possibility to work with high capacity cartridges, and these are usually not included with a printer.

According to this Canon page, the model supports Apple AirPrint, among other things. MacOS 10.12 to MacOS 11 is also listed as compatible. So it should work... https://de.canon.ch/printers/pixma-ts3450-series/specifications/
