Hinsichtlich der Objektivgüte zeigt sich das Nikon AF-S Nikkor 1,4 / 35 mm G als eine gute Wahl, ebenso macht der Autofokus einen prima Eindruck. Weiterhin ist die Ausstattung insgesamt sehr stark, jedoch zeigt die Festbrennweite bei der Auflösung nur ein mittelmäßiges Ergebnis.

Neben der hohen Lichtstärke und einem Autofokus, der sehr exakt und schnell arbeitet, ist das Nikon Objektiv sehr gut verarbeitet und leistet sich bei der Arbeit keinerlei Fehler. Echte Schwächen konnten hier nicht ausgemacht werden.

Das Nikkor macht abgeblendet einen guten Job und hier sind auch die Ecken gut abgebildet und mit einem hohen Kontrast versehen. Auch das Auflösungsvermögen steigt zusehends bei geschlossener Blende. Anders aber bei Offenblende denn hier ist der Rand deutlich ungleichmäßig, wobei das Objektiv dennoch eine Empfehlung erhält.

Die Bildqualität ist äußerst gut, liefert jedoch beim Abblenden mit hoher Auflösung und exzellenter Detailwiedergabe Höchstwerte. Zudem sind Verzeichnungen kaum sichtbar und die Bauweise des Gehäuses sehr solide, wobei auch das Kunststoffmaterial äußerst hochwertig ist. Der Fokussierring läuft weich und ohne Probleme.
Die Bildqualität ist gut kann a werden Bilder mit guter ber nicht wirklich überzeugen, doch trotzdemAuflösung und großartiger Schärfe aufgenommen. Das Gehäuse wirkt mit dem gut laufenden Bedienelementen äußerst hochwertig und solide. Zudem bietet das Objektiv zahlreiche Funktionen und wird mit exzellenter Sonnenblende und Objektivbeutel geliefert.
