If the power runs out, you can connect the micro-USB cable to charge the keyboard, which can also be done while in use. To maximize the duration of a single charge, the keyboard has a power switch.

This keyboard supports Logitech's Unifying technology, meaning you can pair not just the keyboard but up to six Unifying-compatible devices with the same receiver. This keeps your computer's USB ports free for other uses. Another advantage is that you can easily connect input devices with a Unifying receiver if you have lost your old one.
