The Laing D5, but a little different!

In addition to the classic elements of the Laing D5, as known for years in article number 49029, the "Solar" model features some distinct characteristics: Alongside its long runtime and low noise level, thanks to a unique bearing principle, this model was designed for an extremely low starting voltage since it was originally intended to be powered by a solar cell! This low starting voltage allows users to power this pump with almost "zero power," while it still circulates water powerfully like a Laing D5. With a power consumption of 0.25 - 1.45 A (Note: pay attention to the socket requirements!), these two settings can be easily controlled with a simple fan controller, either powerfully and somewhat louder or less powerful yet whisper-quiet.

So, for those who need the power of this absolute high-end pump during the day and want to enjoy the tranquility of the night in the evening, the Laing D5 Pump 12V D5solar is perfectly equipped for both extremes!.
