Compared to lithium-ion or lithium-polymer batteries, LiFePO4 batteries offer an alternative when large discharge currents, short charging times, and high cycle stability with somewhat lower energy density are required. This flat top battery is unprotected, measuring 49 x 18.15 mm with a solder tag. 

High safety: Due to the solid electrolyte and the cell chemistry, LiFePO4 cells are considered intrinsically safe. 

Applications include solar lamps, industry, model making, and diving lamps. Suitable chargers are XTAR SP1, XTAR WP2H, XTAR VP2, and Nitecore D4.
