Dragino BCN02 BLE iBeacon

The Dragino BCN02 is a Bluetooth BLE iBeacon designed for indoor positioning solutions. The BCN02 is based on the Diglog IC and supports the Bluetooth 5.1 protocol. It has a very low power consumption and is equipped with a 1200mAh battery. With a transmission interval of 500 ms, the BCN02 can operate for four to five years. The BCN02 is intended for use alongside the Dragino TrackerD to provide a LoRaWAN indoor positioning solution. BCN02 iBeacons are placed in various locations within a building and broadcast their UUID via Bluetooth. The TrackerD scans for the UUID and selects the one with the strongest signal to upload it via LoRaWAN. This way, the IoT server knows the location of the TrackerD.

Note: The battery of the BCN02 is disconnected for shipping. To activate it, you need to open the case and connect the battery.
