A extension tube is a non-optical device that increases the distance between the lens and the film. This reduces the minimum focusing distance and enlarges the reproduction scale. The EF 25 II extension tube increases the distance between the lens and the film by more than 25 mm. The extension tube is equipped with all EF lens contacts and allows for complete data transfer between the camera and the lens. All exposure programs are retained, except for spot metering.
