With the A 20, you will rediscover your dynamic headphones. The new headphone amplifier from beyerdynamic is perfectly suited for all current headphones and is also fun to use with two people. The circuit design of the A 20 is based on the long-standing reference headphone amplifier A 1: the discretely built output stage provides enough power even for high-impedance headphones. A dynamic, open, and precise sound sets the A 20 apart from headphone outputs found in standard integrated amplifiers or receivers. This is also confirmed by the excellent technical specifications. It delivers sound for long, relaxed music enjoyment. Made from brushed aluminum, the A 20's housing is particularly high-quality and resonance-free. Due to its special mechanical design, there are no visible screws on the exterior surfaces. Equipped with an original ALPS potentiometer for continuous volume control, the solid aluminum knob enhances this impression. In short: a high-quality and durable amplifier. The A 20 can be easily connected to any line-level source via a RCA input. The input signal can be looped through the adjacent RCA outputs without any loss due to the hard-wired design. Thanks to the internal power supply, which connects to the wall socket via a detachable power cable, there is no need for a cumbersome wall adapter, and interference is avoided. Two power cables are included. With two headphone jacks on the front, the A 20 allows for music listening with two people - without the need for adapter cables. It features two 6.35 mm headphone outputs, an elegant and high-quality all-metal housing, and a particularly open, transparent sound, suitable for 600-ohm headphones as well.
