Suitable for high demands in industrial applications. Existing mounting holes offer the option of screwing the foot switches to the surface. Each foot switch is equipped with four rubber feet to prevent slipping. In the case of multi-pedal foot switches, bars prevent the unintentional, simultaneous actuation of several pedals (versions without bars on request) The foot levers are made of thermoplastic. An accident protection cover made of die-cast aluminium completely shields the pedal from above and from the sides and, with its wide projection, ensures a high level of stability. Accidental actuation by falling objects from above or carelessness from the side is thus prevented. Thanks to its stability, the bonnet can withstand a drop weight of 20kg from a height of 1m. Foot switch with safety catch and manual release: Press the pedal to the pressure point: The working contact is closed and the working process is initiated. In an emergency situation, actuation beyond the resistance of the pressure point: The working contact is interrupted and locked, the working process is interrupted. Even if the pedal is not pressed, the lock remains in the OFF position in this phase. This reliably prevents uncontrolled restarting or restarting of moving machine parts. Unlocking: The contacts are not released again until the hazardous situation has been eliminated by manually unlocking (pushbutton on the side of the housing). The work process can be restarted by pressing the pedal up to the pressure point.
